Good Things Being Done.

Damaged fence in Park 1. Sections fall down as the posts and /or the rails become rotten at the attachment point. Eventually the weight of the fence leaning out from the detachment point twists the entire section to the ground.

Park 1 FOD fence patch. We closed the gap but this fence was identified 4 summers ago as able to be stabilized but needing full contractor type REPAIRS as soon as the HOA deals with the MUCH WORSE fence in park 2.

there were several places where these temporary cosmetic "repairs" were made. However this fence has many posts and rails in an advanced state of decay needing REAL repairs very soon. Cosmetically the fence looks much better the 4 sections that were on the ground are back up and band aided together....

Another Project undertaken was conducting our first 2022 cleanup walk thru. This walkthru was done both inside Deerfields internal streets and out along Highway 41 and Diagonal roads. This took about 7 volenteer man hours and resulted in the collection of 35 gallons of trash like this pic shows.

Litter pickup end of Day 2. With much effort and a lot of crushing it down we got it all in the can even the last two BIG peices,. Frozen blankets and clothing dumped at the pullout on Diagonal road.

Like I said more than a wheelbarrow full. Litter pickup was done first . This clean organic waste was hauled away and used for the clean fill of a large depression in park one. This normally needs to de done 3 times per year in addition to the city sweeper coming in May,

First week of spring. 4 truck loads of debris this week. Probably four more to go.
